Sharon Santillo
Sharon Santillo offers Family Stories through Art© workshops in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australia. Her mission is to encourage all ages to ask questions and collect and save their family stories before it is too late.
She is a certified art and writing trainer for the Center for Art-Based Literacy at the University of New Hampshire using Picturing Writing®. This art-and-literature-based model for teaching writing works successfully with all ages and all levels of art and language proficiency.
Ms. Santillo taught art in Maynard Public Schools for 27 years and has served as a teaching artist in Boston Public Schools. In 2011, she was named Massachusetts Art Educator of the Year.
